    United Farmers Market does not use affiliate links. We earn nothing when you click a link on this site or buy something from a company we mention. If we ever add affiliate links, the disclosure will appear on the page where the links are.

    An affiliate link pays the publisher a commission when a reader clicks it and buys something. Many food and business websites are funded this way, and it can shape what gets recommended. We want you to know that this is not how our links work.

    What we do instead

    Our links point to the sources we used, the agencies that regulate cottage food, and the products or companies we judged relevant. None of them pay us. When we mention a jar supplier, a payment processor, a label printer, or an online storefront, it is because the editorial team thought it was useful to the reader, and we say so with the same plainness whether the company is large or small.

    The one company we have a financial relationship with is Local Cottage Foods, a related brand built by the same team that builds this site. Links to it are not affiliate links, and no commission is paid on them. We use referral parameters to count visits in aggregate.

    We may decide to use affiliate links in the future, for example for equipment or packaging supplies. If we do:
